Prop O: Free-Range Office Workers
Voters pass the California proposition that mandates kinder treatment of office workers, granting them such things as the right to fully extend their limbs, stand up, and turn around at the workplace.

SACRAMENTO, California — Proposition O mandates that by 2012 certain types of office workers be kept for the majority of the day in an area that allows them to fully extend their limbs, stand up, and turn around. The new dictate would also allow for a minimum of 30 minutes exposure to natural light each day.
The controversial California proposition saw both sides of the debate making the following arguments:
| Arguments For |
Arguments Against |
Cramming people together allows for sickness to spread that may affect the whole office. |
Existing laws already protect worker rights. |
| Would alleviate human suffering. |
Would cause prices of office-produced goods and services to increase. |
Blood circulation is good for the body and the brain. |
Give them an inch and they’ll think they are rulers. |
