Orange Curtain to Separate Los Angeles From Orange County
Inland Empire and Orange Coalition troops hand over sovereignty to interim L.A. government as security in Los Angeles County remains a challenging task. Former ruler Hahn is defiant in court.
Part 3 in a 3-part series

CERRITOS, Ca. — The Inland/Orange Empire has met its deadline for handing over power to "the people of L.A.," even as lawlessness and violence continued throughout much of Los Angeles County.

Since the beginning of Operation Angelenos Freedom a year ago, more than 500 people are believed to have been killed in sporadic violence, much of it in the stronghold of South Los Angeles, which empire/coalition forces have termed "the Afro Triangle."

"It's not like we want to put up a Berlin Wall or anything... it's just that we have different values."

 — Don Bleitzenkreig, President
 Empire Coalition County

Citing the need to "keep each county unique," empire/coalition troops also begun work on a barrier they hope will keep "rogue elements" out of the eastern counties adjacent to Los Angeles. The electrified curtain is under construction, and will run along the county line from the San Pedro Bay up to the San Gabriel Mountains.

"It's not like we want to put up a Berlin Wall or anything," said Inland/Orange coalition president, Don Bleitzenkreig, "it's just that we have different values. In fact, the curtain is made of orange velvet, to give a softer effect. But frankly, there are things about Los Angeles — the Mexican problem, the former Hollywood Party decadence, the extremist liberal media — that are a danger to our children and a threat to our civilization in general."

Meanwhile, in a downtown courtroom, former mayor Kenneth Hahn appeared before a judge to answer charges about his tenure as the leader of Los Angeles. When asked who he was, Hahn defiantly shouted that he was "the mayor of L.A., stupid!"

When asked by a reporter what he thought of the so-called "Orange Curtain," Hahn said,
"Those dogs! It's just as well — they can rot in their own little hellhole!"

Hahn is being tried along with a dozen other members of the Liberal Alliance and former Hollywood Party members, made popular by a pack of tarot cards issued by empire/coalition troops and including such high-profile figures as Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Martin Sheen, Janeane Garofalo, Gore Vidal, Barbara Streisand, Oliver Stone, Cher, Sean Penn, Edward Norton, George Clooney and Steven Spielberg.

Hahn's trial, and those of the former power elite, are expected to be long, drawn-out affairs as the interim government tries to bring order to a situation of chaos, fear and unbridled egos.
